Winter Truck Camping in the GFC

This week we head out on a solo trip (along with the dog) to the mountains near Las Vegas! Spring Mountain/Mount Charleston area is about 30 minutes out of the city and a popular summer destination to escape the heat! In the winter, its popular for snowboarding and winter activities like sledding, hiking and CAMPING! This is the first time I’ve winter camped in the Go Fast Camper (GFC @GoFastCampers ) I wanted this first trip to be a winter test run prior to me heading out to Brian Head (or another Ski Resort) to snowboard and camp at the resort parking lot! =p

Safe to say, this won’t be the last time I winter camp in the GFC and I look forward to hitting the slopes soon! I love the ability to hang out in the GFC when its cold or crappy outside, we ran the heater to keep us warm and even cooked in the GFC (Costco Ramen kit)!

This is the first time I’ve camped in the Blue Tree Group Camp area in Mt Charleston and it wont’ be the last! This was huge area with a ton of camp spots.
