नव्या आर्थिक वर्षात म्हणजेच येत्या १ एप्रिलपासून वाहनधारकांच्या खिशावरचं ओझं थोडंसं वाढणार आहे. कारण वाहनांचा थर्ड पार्टी विमा महागणार आहे. या विम्याच्या हप्त्यात वाढ करण्यासाठी भारतीय विमा नियामक विकास प्राधिकरणानं अर्थात इर्डानं मसुदा तयार केलाय. यात दुचाकी आणि चारचाकी वाहनांच्या क्षमतेनुसार थर्ड पार्टी विम्यात वाढ करण्यात आलेय. मात्र इलेक्टिक कार, इलेक्ट्रिक दुचाकी, इलेक्ट्रिक प्रवासी वाहने तसेच मालवाहू वाहने यांना विम्यात १५ टक्के सूट देण्यात येणार आहे.
