On this episode of Chaos Divers, we take an adventure for a maritime artifact that has been sought after for almost 160 years… the Pioneer II, also known as the American Diver.
This submarine was the second ever made and was sank before its first use. Joining us on this quest to recover history is Depths of History. We were contacted by Shawn Holland, a local historian with generations of knowledge about the gulf coast because she believes that she has narrowed down the resting place of the American Diver to two different locations.
