The purpose of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy Hall of Fame is to honor early athletes, teams, Academy staff, alumni and individuals that have made a significant contribution to Academy athletics. Massachusetts Maritime Academy, the oldest endlessly operating maritime academy in the state, has maintained a reputation of excellence for over 125 years .
Student-athletes shall be eligible for circumstance and trigger into the Hall of Fame beginning nobelium less than five ( 5 ) years after graduation from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy .

A maximum of one ( 1 ) modern member from college personnel, presently or once employed by MMA, or from individuals who have made a significant contribution to MMA Athletics.
