NATO Warship Arrives in the Baltic Sea, Joined in Standing NATO Maritime Group 1 (SNMG1)

According to a NATO press release, they will take part in joint exercises with allied and partner countries, with some already docked at a port in Tallinn, Estonia. Four ships from the SNMG1 group arrived at Tallinn Harbor on Thursday, where they joined the Canadian frigate HMCS Halifax (FFH 330). The group will conduct routine operations and joint exercises with the Estonian Navy next week, which are intended to improve interoperability among NATO forces and increase shared knowledge of maritime tactics, while promoting professionalism among seafarers, cultural understanding and trust, according to a press release NATO.
