Maritime White has an LRV of 73. This means it ’ s not quite equally light as a traditional whitish, but it ’ sulfur on the VERY HIGH END of the light range .
With an LRV of 73, you better believe Maritime White will wash out in a bright board, but so will ANY color with a higher LRV. however, it ’ s slightly better suited to a dark room than many of the popular whitish paint colours as its elusive, but obtrusive undertones help it battle the shadow slightly better ( but not equally good as Sherwin Williams Moderate White ) .

What are the undertones of Maritime White? Will it look orange or pink?
While Maritime White has an orange undertone, it ALSO has a pink undertone. now, this is where many people jump ship, believing pink to be a 4-letter-word. HOWEVER, it ’ randomness subtle and soft and is much the BEST CHOICE, specially for homes built in the 1990s or early 2000s. Why ? It suits MANY of the carpets, countertops and tiles installed in these years .
