The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels, Md. has many options for touring campus and our waterways, including self-guided and guided walk tours, scenic river cruises aboard the historic 1920 buyboat Winnie Estelle, small craft rentals, and more .

Highlights Tours
CBMM regularly offers highlights tours of our can ’ t-be-missed exhibitions and objects. These hour-long tours, which explore the Working Shipyard, 1879 Hooper Strait Lighthouse, Oystering on the Chesapeake, Floating Fleet, and Waterman ’ s Wharf exhibitions, are spare with entree to the general public, and are scheduled at 1pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, Memorial Day–October .
Guests should meet at the Welcome Center a few minutes before the schedule tour to participate. Tours are besides offered on choice holidays : Memorial Day, July 4th Monday, Labor Day .

With numerous outdoor and indoor spaces, plus ample bus park, CBMM is fair a short walk from St. Michaels ’ historic shops and restaurants. CBMM Members receive a 50 % rebate on guided tours for private syndicate and friends groups. This discount does not apply to corporate, community, or school groups.

Take a cruise aboard Winnie Estelle with us on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, beginning Memorial Day weekend. Drop-in cruises depart from CBMM at 12:30pm, 1:30pm & 2:30pm. Sign-up the sidereal day of your inflict, at the Welcome Center and meet under the Lighthouse for board .
