If you have ever unlocked the bootloader if your Samsung Galaxy S21 series smartphone then you likely are unable to install OTA updates using the built-in updater.
Trying to do so will likely result in a “failed” message that appears at the bottom of the screen.
This is because KNOX has been tripped and Samsung refuses to update devices that it can’t keep protected.
So we have to manually download the firmware (with a program like Frija) and then install it to the smartphone (with a program like Odin).
In this video I show you how to configure the Odin tool and how to set up your Galaxy S21+ so it can be installed.
