You’re able to leave LOS Recovery Mode by selecting the “Reboot System Now” option at the main menu you see.
The development scene for the Redmi K30 Pro & POCO F2 Pro is a bit patchy right now. This results in us having to follow very specific steps in order to get things working properly.
For example, AS OF THIS RECORDING, you simply can’t install the custom LineageOS recovery image on the POCO F2 Pro smartphone from any version of the firmware. Instead, we have to manually downgrade (or upgrade) to the MIUI 12.0.4 global firmware before we can even start.
Failing to start from version 12.0.4 of the global MIUI firmware before flashing the LOS recovery img file can result in a bootloop. At least it did for me when I first tested the custom build. This could very well (and hopefully will) change in the future so let me know if this is no longer the case and I’ll amend the written part of this tutorial.
So for now, if you want to install LineageOS on the POCO F2 Pro or Redmi K30 Pro (codename LMI) then you will need to use MiFlash to get the global MIUI 12.0.4 firmware on the phone first.
With that done, the process is pretty start forward and very familiar to those who are used to this sort of thing.
However, we do need to wipe the userdata partition when we first go from MIUI to LineageOS (or a custom ROM based on LOS sources that require the LOS recovery)
