How to Root the POCO F2 Pro & Redmi K30 Pro with Magisk?

This complete POCO F2 Pro root tutorial will show you the steps from start to finish. The only requirement here is that the bootloader must be unlocked ahead of time.

1. Intro [00:00]
2. Sideload the Magisk Manager APK file (linked above) [01:14]
3. Extract the matching MIUI firmware (linked above) [02:29]
4. Copy the “boot.img” file from the firmware to the smartphone [03:24]
5. Open the Magisk Manager app [04:00]
6. Tap the top “Install” button [04:10]
7. Tap the next “Install” button [04:14]
8. Then tap the “Select and Patch a File” option [04:18]
9. Locate and tap the boot.img file from earlier [04:30]
10. Then wait for Magisk Manager to patch the kernel [04:49]
11. Copy the new “magisk_patched.img” file over to the PC [05:17]
12. And move the magisk_patched.img file into your ADB & Fastboot tools folder
13. Now boot the Redmi K30 Pro or POCO F2 Pro into Fastboot Mode [05:50]
14. Connect the smartphone to the PC with a USB cable
16. Then open a Command Prompt, Windows PowerShell, or Terminal in your ADB & Fastboot folder [07:33]
17. Execute the command. . . [07:40]

fastboot flash boot magisk_patched.img

18. Wait for two different “OKAY” messages [07:58]
19. Then reboot the POCO F2 Pro or Redmi K30 Pro fully rooted [08:22]
