Many of us almost always go in and crop a screenshot we just saved in order to get an image that highlights a small area of the screen.
This results in extra time to capture that initial screenshot, cropping the image you want from it, and having two separate images on my device in the end.
But if you’re on LOS 18.1 or higher then you should have a Screenshot button in the Power Menu by default. Although, this can be disabled in the Settings (so check that if you’re not seeing this on your device).
So instead of going through all of that mess, the folks behind LineageOS have added a screenshot gesture that will instantly take you to a cropping UI that allows you to select a specific area of the screen.
Just long press that Screenshot button in the Power Menu and you should see this new UI.
Tap the check button to save the cropped image and you’ll only have one file added to your smartphone or tablet.
